Job Description:

The Product Specialist aids contracted agents with an insurance carrier through the certification process, navigating the agent portal, and answers any questions the agent may have about that company. The goal of the Product Specialist is to increase Empower’s revenue with that carrier by assisting those agents.

Job Description:

The Product Specialist aids contracted agents with an insurance carrier through the certification process, navigating the agent portal, and answers any questions the agent may have about that company. The goal of the Product Specialist is to increase Empower’s revenue with that carrier by assisting those agents.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assisting with the completion of applications and other necessary paperwork for certification with their contracted carrier.

· Calling contracted agents to remind them to complete their certification paperwork to become ready to sell.

· Getting as many contracted agents certified as possible.

· Assisting contracted agents who are contracted with various carriers with any questions they may have.

· Assisting contracted agents with the utilization of the carrier’s website.

· Following up with contracted agents regularly for any needs, certifications, or to answer questions in support of the agents.

· Advocating for the insurance company to bring new agents to the company.

· Performing other related duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Time management for projects, workflow, and deadlines.
